Our school has around 200 Y1–6 students and is located in a quiet area in East Auckland. We are known as a ‘country school in the city’. With a team of dedicated staff and a close-knit community, the school offers excellent opportunities to work in your areas of passion in a supportive and welcoming learning environment.
We are seeking a Y0 teacher (to start Term 3) with a commitment to providing a caring environment in which all learners can grow. The ability to build sincere and positive relationships with staff, students, their whānau, and members of the wider community is an essential component of this role. Our transition to school programme has been recognised as the Runner Up in the Prime Minister's Education Excellence Award 2015 which celebrates a focus on collaboration that creates learner-led pathways from early childhood to schooling.
Teachers with strong pedagogical knowledge will join a school that celebrates learning success for all students. Provisionally registered teachers are also welcome to apply and will be supported and inducted through our mentorship programme.
